Op deze foto zie je de zon rond 15:00 ‘s middags. Als je inzoomt op de linkerkant van de zon, kun je de zogenoemde ‘sunspots’ zien. Dit zijn de zwarte vlekjes op de zon waar de temperatuur wat lager ligt. Dit komt door magnetische velden. Met mijn telescoop (inclusief zonnefilter) en de Canon EOS R7 ben ik er helemaal klaar voor. Ik hoop dat ik de zonsverduistering helemaal kan vastleggen. Met een telescoop is een zonnefilter noodzakelijk om de zon te bekijken. Zonder een filter is het licht van de zon zó fel en heet, dat een lucifer voor het oculair kan ontsteken! Dit is dan ook niet goed voor je oog. Hierdoor kan je netvlies letterlijk verbranden.
